How to call the media in India
Calling the media means giving reporters a reason to show up, a time they can trust, and materials they can use. Here is the workflow on Press Caller.
1. Set up the organization profile
Register as an organization. Add name, city, and logo. Keep the contact line current so reporters know who is hosting.
2. Draft the press conference
Open Call the Media. Add title, description, venue or livestream, date, and mode. Attach a press release or kit when you have it. Save as draft until the details are final.
3. Publish and invite
Publish when ready so public events can appear in discovery. Invite journalists with Press Caller codes from Contacts or Invitations. We email them for you.
4. Track RSVPs
Open the event to see who accepted. Follow up with people who have not replied. After the briefing you still have a record of the invite list.
